Kristina fought so hard and so bravely for three years, and it is with the heaviest of hearts to let this community know that Kristina passed away on January 10th. She died peacefully at home, and spent her final days surrounded by her husband, Ian, her boys, Miles and Everett, and her mom and sisters. Her home was filled with love and care for every moment of it.

Kristina faced so much in the past three years. There were surgeries, countless medications, rounds of chemo, and scans. But every day she battled through pain and discomfort to live- really live- and she found joy and laughter wherever she could. She had so many new experiences after her diagnosis, and made so many memories with her family. Through those hard times there were so, so many good times. Kristina made sure of it. Her bravery, perseverance, and love of life is the legacy she leaves to us all. My thoughts and love are with her family. Please keep them in your thoughts as we give them time and space to grieve such a tremendous loss.
